Excellence of the Pilandro reds, it is the fruit of centenary vineyards cultivated in the land of Lugana. Aging for 24 months in oak barrels and subsequent 6 months in tonneaux makes it robust and structured, with aromas of plums and black cherries.

Vineyard

Situated at an altitude of 60-80m (195-265’) with a south by southeast exposure and a chalky terrain rich in clay in the southern part of Lake Garda near Desenzano

Harvest

Slightly dried grapes on the plant and manual harvesting with qualitative selection in the vineyard.

Maturation

24 months in oak barrels and following 6 months in tonneaux.

Vinification

Destemming and maceration on the skins for 12-15 days in steel. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the marc is drawn off and pressed, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages in oak barrels.
